Baltimore baseball camp follows an instruction based type of learning with age appropriate groups. There are certain sets of offense and defense practices with a manual that will be presented. They are then encouraged to apply what they have learned in the discussions into a competitive friendly game. There will be a component scheme to determine the winners but the priority of this game is to improve not just knowing the winning or losing team.
The schedule of the league games will always fall on a Sunday. There will be different time frames that will plotted for each category. The announcement will be given before the first play hitting will be started. There will be no exceptions for those will be absent during the hitting date.
The venue for these leagues will be held in different indoor hitting facilities that are located just next to the area field. Information regarding the playoffs will be posted just outside the field so the parents can keep track. Teams are comprised of at least four players who compete against other teams from their age category. Only those who enroll earlier will be assigned to a specific team.
Three divisions are prepared that will be opened according to each player and their grades. Competitions are plotted for the teams consisting of seven plays. There are five swings given to each one per inning. It will take place in front of a pitching machine that will determine the skill of each trainee.
A series of cages are arranged together for the contestants. Scoring sheets will be inside each cage. There is a line that will be drawn for the hits. Those ground balls will roll off to an area where it will be counted as a point. They are asked to be early and come in thirty minutes before the scheduled game.
They are allowed to go through drills and instructional pep talk. There will be weekly letters sent online with the updated leader statistics. This will help the participants to know the introductions and what to expect during the game. Balance and timing as well as pitching recognition includes the notifications.
Rewards will be granted by the end of the camp. It will be a great way for them to show their talent in front of the coaching committee.
