This is all about some tricks and skills you should have.

Every year thousands of players dedicate their all efforts to make it to college team. The numbers shows that only 3 to 4 percent of these high school players qualify for college teams. Most of these players end their football playing days in high school. If you want to join the college team you should join these 3 to 4 percent group.

To achieve your goal in this field you must be aware of some important tips. In case you make your talent strong then there will be less competition for you. Generally the coaches are not so concerned about you since you have to take care of your self. When it comes to college team establishment then there is no much focus on individual goals.

Being nice or belonging to rich family does not help much here. The coaches only recruit you if you are capable to fulfill their needs. They will be concerned about the success of their program. The first thing you should possess to get noticed by coach is size and athleticism. As this is a physical sport, these two things are the main criteria compared to other sports.

This is a physical activity so class and academic records will not be considered. Initially coaches filter the candidates by their size and physical conditions and then they move on to check your performance. Apart from physical stamina the coaches verify your mental abilities, the skills required varies from one sport to another. So the instructor considers both physical as well as mental strengths.

Mental toughness powered by physical toughness is important to get ready for the difficulties of big games. This also helps to withstand the increased level of competition in college life. The coaches always recruit 5 or more candidates for each playing spot. From these, the candidate who stays qualified for the play will be preferred. This means the equal balance of academics and sports.

In college level this sport is about performance not about personality. Many may like you as a player but you are no good if you fail to deliver some good show. Non consistent performance may damage your chance to get permanent place in the team. The candidate should be team player to qualify.

Your high school football recruiting will be a grand success if you possess all the above mentioned characters. Take initiative in this field to frame a successful career. Sending your athletic resume with personal details to the relevant coach can be the best way to get noticed.
